Basic Defensive Rifle (8HR) - $350

Basic Defensive Rifle provides a thorough understanding of the semi-auto rifle (AR-15) and aims to educate the shooter on and instill not only the 4 Universal/Cardinal Safety Rules of handling a firearm, but also the 7 Fundamentals of Marksmanship. We will discuss the 5th Cardinal Safety Rule that applies when using a rifle. This course will focus on building the proper foundation of firearms defense with a rifle while using the 7 Fundamentals as the cornerstone of all training, and will include individual shooter assessment. The shooter should expect to leave the class able to demonstrate proper technique, consistent and efficient cheekweld and sight pictures,  increased accuracy, and clearing the rifle of common malfunctions.
