These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Distinct Defense Solutions LLC website (Distinct-Defense.com) and participation in any classes, events, services, or communications offered by Distinct Defense Solutions LLC (“Distinct Defense,” “Company,” “we,” “us,” “our”).

By accessing our Website or registering for any class or service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Use of the Website

You agree to use the Website only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not violate any applicable laws or regulations.
You may not:

  • Attempt to access secure or restricted areas

  • Upload harmful code, malware, or disruptive materials

To register for any training program, class, or event:

  • You must be 18 years or older

  • You must be legally permitted to handle or possess firearms

  • You must complete and sign all required waivers and releases

  • You must agree to follow all safety rules and instructor directions

We may refuse service to anyone for safety or compliance reasons.

3. Waivers & Assumption of Risk

 

Participation in firearms training involves inherent risks including, but not limited to, injury or death.
By registering for any class or event, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • You voluntarily assume all risks associated with firearms training

  • You will sign all required waivers prior to participation

  • You are responsible for handling firearms safely and responsibly

  • You will follow all instructor commands without delay

Failure to follow safety rules may result in removal from training without refund.

4. Payments, Refunds & Cancellations

4.1 Payments

 

  • All payments are currently collected in person (cash or digital).

  • Online payments may be added in the future.

  • ​

4.2 Cancellations & Refunds

​

Unless otherwise stated:

  • Student cancellations within 48 hours of a class may not be eligible for a refund or credit.

  • “No-shows” are not refundable.

  • If Distinct Defense cancels a class, you will receive a full refund or transfer option.

Certain events may have unique refund policies which will be disclosed at registration.

 

5. User Accounts & Profiles

​

If you create a student profile:

  • You are responsible for providing accurate information

  • You must maintain confidentiality of any login credentials

  • You agree not to share access to your account

We may suspend or delete accounts for misuse or violation of these Terms.

6. Prohibited Conduct During Training

​

To ensure safety, students may not:

  • Handle firearms while under the influence of drugs or alcohol

  • Engage in unsafe, reckless, or aggressive behavior

  • Ignore instructor commands

  • Bring unauthorized firearms or ammunition

  • Photograph or record without permission

Violation may result in immediate removal from training without refund.

7. Intellectual Property

​

All content on the Website — including logos, photos, text, graphics, course materials, and branding — is the property of Distinct Defense Solutions LLC.

You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute content without written permission.

8. Third-Party Services

​

The Website may link to or integrate with third-party platforms (e.g., payment processors, email services, scheduling tools).
Distinct Defense is not responsible for third-party content, privacy policies, or actions.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • You agree to hold the Company, its owners, and instructors harmless from any claims related to your actions, negligence, or misuse of firearms.

Firearms training carries inherent risks. You assume full responsibility for your participation.
