Refund & Cancellation Policy

Distinct Defense Solutions LLC (“Distinct Defense,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is committed to providing high-quality firearms training while maintaining fairness to both students and instructors. This Refund & Cancellation Policy outlines the terms under which refunds, credits, or transfers may be issued.

By registering for any class, event, or training session, you agree to the following policy.

 

General Policy

​

  • All class registrations reserve a limited training slot.

  • Due to class size limits, instructor scheduling, and range reservations, refunds are limited.

  • Distinct Defense reserves the right to modify this policy for specific events, which will be disclosed at registration.

 

Student Cancellations

​

  • Cancellations made more than 24 hours prior to the scheduled class may be eligible for a refund or credit, at the discretion of Distinct Defense.

  • Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled class are not eligible for a refund.

  • Students who fail to attend a class (“no-shows”) are not eligible for refunds or credits.

 

Transfers & Credits

  • When approved, cancellations may be transferred to a future class date one time, subject to availability.

  • Credits are non-transferable to other students and have no cash value.

  • Credits must be used within [Insert time frame, e.g., 90 days] of issuance unless otherwise stated.

Instructor or Company Cancellations

​

If Distinct Defense cancels a class due to instructor availability, weather, range issues, or other unforeseen circumstances, students will be offered:

  • A full refund, or

  • A transfer to a future class date

Student preference will be honored whenever possible.

Removal for Safety or Policy Violations

 

Distinct Defense reserves the right to remove any student from training for:

  • Unsafe firearm handling

  • Failure to follow instructor commands

  • Disruptive or inappropriate behavior

  • Being under the influence of drugs or alcohol

Students removed for these reasons are not eligible for refunds or credits.

Weather Policy

 

Classes may proceed in various weather conditions. If weather conditions are deemed unsafe by the instructor or range, the class may be postponed or canceled. In such cases, students will be offered a refund or transfer.

​

Refund Method

 

Approved refunds will be issued using the original method of payment whenever possible. Processing times may vary.
